Summary (5-point scale)
Food 3.8
Price 3
Service 4
Environment 3.6
Type of Gathering: Family Gathering
I won't be back!!

Food
At the beginning, they offer a dish of traditional Chinese snack - peanuts. Basically everything is just very normal and I am here mainly for dim sum lunch.

i) Signature dish - Roasted Big with Minced Prawn
I came to Sun Tung Lok because I saw a talk show introducing this dish.
The pork skin was kinda a bit too crisy that it turned out a little bit hard. The meat is a bit fat (fat means good) which I like it so much. It's juicy, the pork oil mixed with the minced shrimp that made it not too try to eat like some other roasted pork.

ii) Traditional dim sum - Shrimp Dumplings
The flavor is good and shrimps are fresh. Pretty good.

iii) Steamed Egg Rolls
The egg rolls are soft and sweet. They are full of "real eggs" flavor instead of artifical.

iv) Tradition dim sum - Shrimp Rice Noodles
The rice noodles are soft and the shrimps are fresh. Good

v) Abalone Chicken Pastries
They are not good. Not recommended. The patries are a bit soggy.

vi) Chef Recommended - Stuffed Crab Shell ; HK$180 (around that, don't remember clearly)
Inside the crab shell are chicken, onion and mushroom bake with cheese. (I guess there is some diced crab meat, can't really tell). The flavor is very strong which I can't even taste the crab at all!!! Definitely won't order again!!

vii) Chef Recommended - Stuffed Conch ; HK180 (around that, don't remember clearly)
This is again, Curry chicken and onion baked with cheese. I am sure that there isn't any conch meat inside. well, I would say the conch is only a decoration that the restaurant trying to scam more money with it!!! Won't order again!!!

Conclusion
The service is pretty good that and there is plenty of space between tables.
This lunch => HK$870 (10% off as I paid by a Hang Seng Credia Card)

I won't be back as the dim sum varieties aren't as many as other chinese restaurants and the food is not as delicious as mentioned in some blogs written by celebrities.

WHY would I pay more for a lunch here?

Lung King Heen 龍景軒

Lung King Heen @ Four Seasons Hotel HK
3 star Michelin Restaurant
8 Finance Street
Central, Hong Kong
Tel:(852) 3196 8888

Environment
I arrived at 7:45pm, half of the restaurant was still empty, so I took this chance to take a photo.

Food

Appetizer - shrimp on lotus root with sweet and sour sauce
Nothing special to mention about it, the shrimp isn't especially fresh, just merely meet the standard.

Main - Chief recommended Barbecued Pork with Honey ; HK$~100s
It's just a normal dish of barbecued pork with a slice of bread inside. Compare to the barbecued pork at House of Jasmine, this is nothing. The skin is pretty crispy though.

Main - Chief recommended Superior Pottage with Shredded Chicken ; HK$260
This soup is very good. One of the dishes that I think it's worth to mention about. The soup is pretty think and the flavor is strong. The shredded chicken and other ingredients are fresh.

Main - Chief recommended deep fried scallop with fresh pear ; HK$~200s
This dish tastes special. It's hot outside and a bit cold inside. The scallops are fresh and the smell of pear really brings out the taste of the scallops. Recommend you to order this if you visit this place.

Main - Chief recommended crispy pigeon ; HK$100
The flavor of this pigeon isn't very strong so you can taste the freshness of it. I would say this is above the arrange of most of the local Chinese restaurants.

Main - Chief recommended crispy Chicken ; HK$~200s
well, again, not a very special dish. Just a very arrange crispy chicken. I would say the crispy chicken at Shark Fin City is better. Cheaper price with the same quality.

Main - Chief recommended crispy frog leg with spicy salt ; HK$100
This serving size is only half of the original. You can request for half an order just in case you want to order more dishes for varieties.
The flavor is very strong but I could still taste the freshness of it. Pretty good !!

Main - Vegetables in soup ; HK$~200s
ummm.... nothing special, if you don't really crave for a dish of veggie, don't bother ordering it.

Dessert - red bean budding + crispy rice cake ; FREE
As it's free, so I don't have any expectation. The red pudding is surprisingly quite good.

Service

The waitress kept changing bowls and dishes for me. They also poured for me so I didn't even have to pour a cup of tea myself. To be honest, it was pretty disturbing.

:) The waitress was pretty nice that she brought me 2 magazines while I was waiting for my friend to come :). They also helped charge my iPhone. (It's not a common service in HK)

The dinner was around HK$1130 for 2 people.

Conclusion
I wouldn't be back to this restaurant again!!! It's definitely not worth the money. The food is pretty average but the prices are expensive!!!

Sushi Hiro 壽司廣

Sushi Hiro 壽司廣
Tel: 2882 8752
Address: 銅鑼灣恩平道42號亨利中心10樓

One advice - ask if the tables on other floors are available as there are 3 restaurants under Sushi Hiro group.

Cheaper way to EAT
Most people love Japanese food. However, having a decent Japanese meal in HK is pretty expensive. There is one trick to have a cheaper Japanese meal - do it at lunch!! The price is more than 50% off compares to dinner with similar quality of sashimi.
I personally think it's better to have it at lunch.

FOOD
The quality of sushi is slighty better than Sushi Imamura which I have written a review on it before. Sushi Hiro has pre-set this meal which means you cannot choose your own pieces of sushi, which is the major difference between the 2 Japanese restaurants.
This lunch set: appetizer + sushi + desset + coffee / tea -> $160+10%

I will be back!!!
